Yesterdays ‘Mystery Monk’ email caused a surprising stir.

My favourite bit of feedback came from my well travelled client, Peter in Egypt.

Here’s what he put:

“I worked for a year on the counter at a motorway service station.
I got a real close up view of the crap that people stuff into their mouths.
And the stress they’re under whilst doing so.
Racing from meeting to meeting, banging away on their mobi etc. etc.

They queue impatiently to fill their cars up with high grade fuel
yet fill their bodies with s**t!”

I hear you brother, I hear you.

I’m always shocked at how much of a dirty word ‘Rest’ is to some people.

They recharge their phones fully on a regular basis, yet expect their bodies to function properly without enough rest.

Don’t let this be you.

Forget the ‘Work hard, Play hard’ mantra. You’re better off with: ‘Work hard, Rest hard’.

I know it’s a high pressure, dog eat dog world out there. I know you’re expected to do more with less and do to it quicker and better than ever before.

I run my own business I’m well aware of how unpredictable and scary it is out there right now.

It can feel like running a marathon, just to stand still financially.

I get it.

But if you’re not regularly scheduling time to rest, relax and recharge then you can expect to be on first name terms with these feelings:

  • Impatience
  • Worry
  • Frustration
  • Anxiety
  • Anger
  • Fear

And if you’re not careful the next stop on your journey could be a place called Burnout City. Population: Too Many.

The good news is that Qigong is a simple and powerful way to supplement your resting and recharging efforts.

It’s not a substitute for sleep, I’d never endorse skimping on your sleep.

But if you live a high pressure life or are currently experiencing a sharp increase in your stress levels then Qigong could be the solution you’re looking for.

My book: Smiling From The Heart focuses exclusively on 29 Qigong and non-Qigong tools to help you live a happier, healthier and more fulfilling life…in spite of what your life may currently be throwing at you.

It’s a powerful health defence tool in these trying times we all find ourselves in.

I’ve put together a free 41 page preview for you to download. This way you’ll be able to take a look around and decide for yourself if you think it might be of benefit to you.

You can get it here:

Don’t let the stresses and strains of modern life get on top you. It’s easy to get back in the driving seat once you know and practice a few simple techniques.

Smiling From The Heart will show you how.

Kindest regards
