Pop Quiz…

I’ve got a really important question for you to answer.

Get it right and I’m confident you’ll succeed with getting the benefits you want from your practice.

But get it wrong?

Don’t worry, because I’ll reveal the correct answer and then you’ll know and you can make any necessary changes to your Qigong practice.

Okay, you ready?

Here’s the question:

What must you put most of your effort into
if you want to succeed with your practice?

It ain’t forms Grasshopper…

Or techniques…

Or the breathing…

Ugh, Ugh.

Sure these things are important, but they’re not essentials, I’ve witnessed plenty of Qigong Players with poor form, and sloppy technique but who still get really good results from their practice.

If you said:

Entering a QSoM

Enhancing Energy Flow

Standing Zen

Then you’re on the right track.

But the answer I was looking for is: Qigong Skills

Yet when I check my mail bag, very few people are asking me for help with developing their skills.

It’s mostly wanting help with forms.

How to improve them.

Which form do I recommend for their particular situation.

And so on.

But it’s not their fault.

When you look at what the vast majority of Qigong teachers are selling you can see where this over emphasis on forms is coming from.

Especially Tai Chi teachers who like to teach a bit of Qigong on the side.

Now the very first thing I teach in my classes is how to enter a QSoM.

I go through it ‘belt and braces’ fashion.

To really give everyone a strong taste of it.

Out of the 3 core skills of Qigong, a QSoM is the most important.

Because without it, you can’t get the party started.

So, if you’ll shift the focus of your practice to deepening your mastery of these Qigong skills you can expect to get better results in shorter time.

It really is that simple.

Now I emphasise the importance of these skills in all my teaching materials, but you’ll find I concentrate most fully on them in my PERFECT Qigong System.

And it’s easier than you might think.
