Right, I’ve got 30 minutes to get this FLOP subject completed.

If you missed yesterdays Qigong Daily you can read part 1 of FLOP HERE

Remember we’re looking at how to beef up your PERFECT Qigong results using FLOP

Where ‘O’ stands for:

One Day At A Time (p.92) – I’ve got a lot of heavy duty appointments coming up in the future. Teaching in Portugal and the USA. I’ve got a number of meetings coming up that are going to be a stretch for me. I’ve got some tough decision to make in the near future. Ollie’s leaving primary and starting ‘Big School’ in September and I’ve a major career defining moment coming up in November.

I bet you’ve got a few hurdles of your own coming up in the future too.

And then of course there’s the past.

Things I said, things I did, things that happened in my formative years. You know, stuff you can’t do nothing about.

I love this quote from Kung Fu Panda:

Yesterday is history,
Tomorrow is a mystery,
But today is a gift,
That’s why it’s called the present.

Keep your thinking focused on this day, this moment. Yes, it can be a struggle sometimes, but believe me when I say:

“You’re strong enough to get through this day, this moment, whatever it may contain.”

Be here now, Grasshopper. Life’s so much easier that way.

The ‘P’ in FLOP stands for:

Plan – You’ve got to have a plan, even better if you’ve got a Massive Action Plan or MAP (p.137 – 144). It’s no good being given a huge box of tools and then being told to go off and fix up your health, your happiness and your life – when you’ve no idea how to use them.

You need a plan, a made to measure plan. One which fits your unique situation, that can help you to overcome the challenges you face.

One size doesn’t fit all Grasshopper.

Knowing what to do, how to do it and having certainty that the plan you have will work is more powerful than you can imagine. Suppose you had to travel from your home to a specific location, in a small town 100 miles away, that you’d never heard of.

You’ve got no map, no electronic gizmo’s to help you and you have to walk.

How hard do you think it would be to get there?

Now suppose I gave you a map and a set of notes on things to look out for, safe places you could rest up and good places to get food and water.

Think you’d have a better journey?

Hell yeah.

Well it’s the same with Qigong. Too many books and DVD’s try to ‘cookie cutter’ you. They do the whole ‘one size’ thing. But if there’s one thing I know about you it’s this:

You’re unique. There’s never been one like you and there never will be another one like you.

Sure, I don’t know what specific challenges you face to living a long, healthy and happy life. But I’ll bet they’re different to mine and everyone else who reads this post.

And therefore you need a resource that recognises your uniqueness.

Which is why I’m so proud of my book Smiling From The Heart.

In it you’ll find 29 simple Qigong and non-Qigong tools. And where necessary I’ll give you videos, PDF’s and MP3’s that will introduce you to each one and show you how to use it effectively.

Next I’ll show you step-by-step, how to create your own MAP tailored to meet your unique, individual needs.

And if you’ll use the MAP you make, it will take you from where you are now to where you want to be, one day at a time and you’ll discover you can live a happier, healthier and more fulfilling life, in spite of what it may throw at you.

In these two Qigong Daily posts, I’ve introduced you to 4 tools you can use. But I’ve barely scratched the surface in the small space I have available here.

Have a lovely weekend and remember…

Be here now.
