The Saturday Quote:

“A room without books is like a body without a soul.”
Marcus Tullius Cicero

I went into the big city of Exeter yesterday to pay my accountant.

Afterwards I hit the bookshops =)

One of my favourite pastimes after practicing ZEN+

On this visit I bought:

  1. Freedom from Emotional Eating by Paul Mckenna – Simply because I find comfort eating to be a very common problem amongst my clients and I like Paul’s approach to solving problems. It’s just like my own: very systematic and structured with lots of helpful tools.
  2. Key Stage 3 Science Guide – I like to help Ollie with his school work and I know this is the text book they use to set his homework. I want to complement the learning Ollie’s doing in school and help to give him an advantage.
  3. Cigars of the Pharaoh – It’s the third of the Adventures of Tintin series by Herge. Ollie’s taken a liking to these books, I’m more of an Asterix man but the only thing more enjoyable than buying books for myself is buying books for Ollie =)

So there I was in a coffee shop drinking my overpriced, under tasty coffee reviewing my purchases when I saw the quote I started this email with.

I agree.

There isn’t a room in my house that doesn’t have a pile or 10 of books in it.

I love books now which is funny because I hated them when I was kid.

I hated reading full stop.

It wasn’t until I got busted for jumping off the school roof (long story) and ended up reading out loud to the Headmaster every school day for an hour that my love of reading developed.

You see, I’ve always had an insatiable appetite for finding out what happens next?

And I don’t know about you, but I still much prefer hold in your hands physical books to digital ones. Perhaps it’s just me, but I’m much more likely to finish a real book than I am to finish a PDF or Kindle book.

What about you?

Anyway, these weekend Qigong Daily’s are supposed to be shorter so I’ll wrap up by saying I still have 20 or so copies of my book Smiling From The Heart left from the last print run I had done.

If you’d like to discover a simple way to a happier life.

Have access to a treasure trove of natural, drug free solutions to depression, stress, anxiety worry and fear.

Then here’s my offer to give you the best of both worlds.

If you buy the digital PDF version of Smiling From The Heart today – I’ll send you the physical version for free.

If that sounds good to you, head on over to:

http://SmilingFromTheHeart.com

You’ll be able to download the PDF immediately after your purchase, I’ll post out your book on Monday and then email you to confirm it’s on its way to you.

Can’t say any fairer than that.

Have a wonderful weekend Grasshopper.

Bye for now

Marcus
