Yesterdays post really set the cat amongst the pigeons!
I can’t remember the last time a Qigong Daily post generated so much heated response.
And so many unsubscribes =)
But you know what?
I couldn’t be happier with the result.
If you’re wondering why I’m so happy to have unsubscribes from this list…
Allow me to explain.
A lot of people accused me of making them feel bad because they weren’t ‘fully committed’ to their Qigong practice and then went on to justify their half assed approaches.
But I got news for you, if you practice Qigong and you want results from your practice, heck if you want results from anything you invest your precious time in, you need to be committed.
Because if there’s one lesson I’ve definitely learned over the years it’s this:
Quite simply I don’t want you to waste your time and if that means upsetting a bunch of sensitive souls putting this message across, then I’m happy to do it.
Think of it as my ‘Flake Filter’, a way to get rid of the dead weight in this group.
Here are some stats that might be of interest to you:
- Since 27th August 2012 I’ve racked up a total of 4 days, 1 hour and 38 minutes writing these Qigong Daily messages for you. That’s a solid chunk of time. Imagine writing, without a break for 4 days, 1 hour and 38 minutes…
- Each Qigong Daily post takes on average 44 minutes to write and rewrite and rewrite.
- Today’s message will be sent to 803 QD subscribers. But on average 60% of subscribers won’t even bother opening it. That’s a lot of waste.
As you can see I invest a lot of my precious time getting the Qigong Daily out to you.
Can you also see why I only want people on this list who are committed to their Qigong practice, or at least enjoy reading what I have write?
My aim with this Qigong Daily message is to keep it real with you. To tell you what you need to know to get the most from your practice, to be your trusted Qigong advisor. And to make a living from doing what I love…teaching Qigong to committed students.
If that sounds good to you… welcome aboard. If not, well, you’ll find the unsubscribe link at the bottom of this page, on the left below the address.
Right, I think I’ve insulted enough for now and I’ve got a first draft of my new book to write or else a lot of early bird ‘Qigong Inner Circle’ subscribers are going to be giving me a hard time (thanks for your help by the way, very much appreciated! I’ve scheduled the rest of today for working on the first draft of the new book).

Look, if you’re still here with me I want you to know that I do appreciate you and thank you for bearing with me whilst I wrote this ‘Spring Cleaning Flake Filter’ post.
Normal service will be resumed tomorrow.
Enjoy your practice!
