About Marcus Santer: Qigong Teacher, Author, and Founder of Qigong15

Marcus Santer has been practicing qigong since 2000, training under 4th Generation Grandmaster Wong Kiew Kit. He received his blessing to teach Shaolin Cosmos Qigong in 2003 and was authorised to teach Shaolin Kung Fu in 2005, holding the Chief Instructor position for Wahnam UK. In 2009, he founded Qigong15 with a single aim: to make qigong as widely practiced and as well understood as Tai Chi and Yoga.

His Approach

Marcus’s practice began earlier — with Tai Chi at university in 1990, followed by five years training on the instructor path at the Wutan school in Nottingham. But it was his work with Grandmaster Wong Kiew Kit that shaped his understanding of qigong as a complete art: one that addresses the body, mind, and spirit together, not just the physical form.

That distinction — between practicing qigong correctly and merely practicing its movements — runs through everything on this site. The exercises, the online course, and the written guides here are all built around that principle: that qigong practiced as a genuine art, even for just 15 minutes a day, produces results that physical form alone cannot.

Published Works

Marcus is the author of three books on qigong practice:

  • Shaolin Chi Kung — 18 exercises to help you live a longer, healthier, and happier life, covering the famous Shaolin 18 Lohan Hands set
  • Qigong Daily — 365 big ideas to transform your qigong practice and your life
  • Smiling From The Heart — qigong healing techniques for emotional wellbeing

Qigong15

Founded in 2009, Qigong15 is a free resource covering qigong exercises, qigong healing, and qigong training. The name reflects a core principle: when practiced correctly, 15 minutes of qigong a day is enough to build and maintain genuine health.

For those who want structured guidance, the Qigong Secrets online course is the most direct way to learn — the closest thing to working with Marcus in person.
